By installing or using ZeroLeaks (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
What ZeroLeaks Is
ZeroLeaks is an offline tool that examines the apps installed on your device and presents information about their permissions and potential risks, to help you make your own decisions about your device’s security. It runs entirely on your device and does not connect to the internet.
No Guarantee of Security
ZeroLeaks is an informational, best-effort tool — not a guarantee that your device is safe. Its analysis is based on the information Android makes available about installed apps and on a limited, on-device set of detection rules. It may not detect every threat, and a result such as “Phone looks safe” does not mean your device is free of malware, vulnerabilities, or risk.
You remain responsible for your own device security. ZeroLeaks is not a replacement for keeping your software updated, installing apps only from sources you trust, and using good security practices. Do not rely on ZeroLeaks as your sole means of protection.
Your Responsibilities
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and on devices you own or are authorised to assess.
- Understand that decisions you make based on the App’s output — including uninstalling apps or changing settings — are your own.
No Warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its results will be complete or accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, security incident, or damage to any device, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to the App and These Terms
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
