By installing or using ZeroUnread (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
What ZeroUnread Is
ZeroUnread helps Gmail users reach “Inbox Zero” — bulk-marking unread emails as read using date and search filters, and unsubscribing from newsletters. It works directly between your device and Google’s Gmail API and stores your data only on your device. How it handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Your Google Account
The App works with your Gmail account through Google’s official APIs, and your use of Gmail remains subject to Google’s Terms of Service. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You can revoke the App’s access at any time from your Google Account settings.
Actions on Your Email
ZeroUnread marks emails as read or unread, archives them (removes them from your Inbox, keeping them in your account under “All Mail”), and initiates standard unsubscribe requests that you confirm. It never permanently deletes or sends email. You are responsible for the actions you take in the App — including which emails you mark or archive, and which senders you unsubscribe from. Bulk actions affect many emails at once; review the filter and count shown before you confirm.
Pro Upgrade and Subscriptions
ZeroUnread offers an optional Pro upgrade: a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Pro features are optional and the App is usable without them.
- Billing. All purchases are processed by Google Play. Prices are shown in the App before purchase. We never receive or store your payment details.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in the Google Play Store → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the current period ends.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with Google Play’s refund policies.
- Changes to Pro. We may change Pro features or pricing for future purchases; changes do not affect the price of a subscription period you have already paid for.
Acceptable Use
Use the App only for lawful purposes and only with a Google account you own or are authorised to use. Do not attempt to misuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App or Google’s services through it.
No Warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will always be able to reach Gmail — the App depends on Google’s services, which may change or become unavailable.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or emails, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
